Anderson Cooper's Honor for the Coast Guard


The disaster of Hurricane Harvey left residents frightened and stranded on the roof of their homes waiting to be saved. On August 30th, 2017, the Coast Guard responded to a rescue mission to save residents in Beaumont, Texas. Anderson Cooper, an American journalist and primary anchor for the CNN news, proceeded to show his support and ambition by tagging along for the task. After a full day flying and rescuing helpless residents, Anderson Cooper show’s his integrity and honor by posing for a picture with the rescue crew. He states on his Instagram account, “Such an honor to spend the day with this amazing Coast Guard crew as they rescue people stranded in Texas. @USCG.
