Fox 2 News from St. Louis provides information on a rather intriguing story, where a 19-year old pregnant woman was shot at by three mysterious men off of an interstate. The lady was 36 weeks into pregnancy when she was fired at, with 3 bullets being placed into her right hip. After being taken to the hospital by authorities, she "went into surgery for the bullet wounds and to deliver the baby". Upon birth of the infant, it was revealed that one of the bullets that hit the woman also made its way to the baby, causing injury and putting him/her in critical condition. Upon investigation, police have yet to determine if the shooting was premeditated, or rather a case of serious road rage.
