Despite the public's want to nominate her to run for president, Oprah Winfrey insists that she will not run in the 2020 Presidential Election. Ever since her moving speech at the Golden Globes, she has been said to run for the election. Although her speech was very moving and very inspirational, she never intended for it to come off as political or cause any presidential speculation. Winfrey states that she is "humbled by the fact that people think that I could be the leader of the free world, but it's just not in my spirit....It's not in my DNA".
