    The New York Times article details an update to the alleged situation surrounding Donald Trump, his lawyer, Micheal D. Cohen and Stephanie Clifford. Micheal D. Cohen came out stating that he once payed Stephanie Clifford (aka “Stormy Daniels”) 130,000 dollars out of his own pocket, despite Donald Trump claiming that no affair occurred. Cohen went on to say to the New York Times “The payment to Ms. Clifford was lawful, and was not a campaign contribution or a campaign expenditure by anyone.” This was his response to a complaint made to the F.E.C. that alleges Cohen was reimbursed by the Trump Campaign, or that this expenditure was somehow otherwise financially connected to the Trump Campaign.
