On Wednesday, Shaun White, a famous snowboarder, won his third gold medal in the Winter Olympic games. When being interviewed about the games and how he felt about winning his third medal, questions about sexual assault allegations against White, was a big topic of discussion throughout media outlets. When asked about it, White stated, "I'm truly sorry that I chose the word 'gossip'...It was a pour choice of words to describe such a sensitive subject in the world today". The Olympics by itself is a very stressful time for all competing athletes, but a lawsuit on top of training, practicing, and competing, I can only imagine the amount of stress that Shaun White is under right now.
