Syrian Refugees Seeking Asylum

This photograph is from journalist Lynsie Addario's instagram. In the caption of the photo she explains that this is an image of a child from a family that is "still waiting for the completion of their asylum cases in Germany and Greece." The lighting and angle of this photograph are both powerful. They seem to emphasize the struggle that the family is facing. The child appears upside down and in the dark to the viewer and the picture is a strong illustration of the small children who are struggling to find asylum with their families. Addario also links a fundraiser in the caption where people can donate to Syrian refugees.
