Virgina Tech Student Kills 13 Year Old
In a post from New
York Times, this past month, Virginia Tech engineering student David
Eisenhaur pleaded no contest to the 2016 death of a 13 year old girl. The victim was Nicole
Lovell, a 7th grade student that met David through social media.
On the night of January 27th, 2016, Lovell crawled out of her window
to meet the then 18 year old Eisenhaur for a date. The young girls body was
found 3 days later with multiple stab wounds and a fatal one to her neck.
Lawyers are trying to press most of the blame to David’s alleged accomplice, 21
year old Natalie Keepers. She is set to start trial in September of this year.
The 13 year old's mother stated “We fought every fight together…She was a great
and beautiful girl.” With the plea coming on the 4th day of
testimony, sentencing is now scheduled for May 2018.
