An Unusually deadly year for woman journalist around the world, report finds

TOPSHOT - Police and forensic experts inspect the wreckage of a car bomb believed to have killed journalist and blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia close to her home in Bidnija, Malta, on October 16, 2017. The force of the blast broke her car into several pieces and catapulted the journalist's body into a nearby field, witnesses said. She leaves a husband and three sons.Caruana Galizia's death comes four months after Prime Minister Joseph Muscat's Labour Party won a resounding victory in a general election he called early as a result of scandals to which Caruana Galizia's allegations were central. / AFP PHOTO / STR / Malta OUT (Photo credit should read STR/AFP/Getty Images)

A Mexican journalist that was attending a funeral was soon shot in the head when she was leaving the funeral home. Several reports of woman journalists being found dead, "because of their work during 2017".

When did telling the truth become so dangerous, why do people who post fake news not get the same effect as people who tell the truth and who just want to spread the word to the world. Journalists are so brave for what they do, they dedicate their life to proving the truth, and they show the realness of society, at its most ugly times for the whole world to actually see.
