In the recent foreign news, a South African Politician was found guilty of attacking a journalist outside of the parliament building. The picture above shows the aggressive act. The politician's name is Floyd Shivambu and he is a part of the economic freedom fighters a group out of South Africa. Many are reaching to social media to advertise and make the issue be known. They are even using a new hashtag, #FloydShivambu to get the word across. A local South African is calling for forgiveness from their nation, however, I’m not sure if this act could be let go so quickly. He says, “We forgave apartheid after the killing of many innocent people. Surely, we can forgive Floyd as well. After all, we are a forgiving nation.”
