Student Journalists Get Freedom to Publish

In Olympia, the capital of Washington, Governor Jay Inslee signed a new law on Wednesday March 21st, 2018 which will give public school and college students to freely publish what they want without "the fear of administrative backlash." The freedom for students to also use the freedom of expression will help them develop to become suitable professional journalists. People may think it is too early for kids to write like this, but if they do not learn early then it will be hard to learn later. The students are also allowed to write without censorship and do not need prior review to publish their own articles. This a big step in the state of Washington to help the young generation learn what the current generation of journalist go through. [1 image, 1 quote, 1 link, 129 words]
