In 2015 the Bucket List Family traveled to Thailand and documented their experiences, adventures, and opinions along the way. The main attraction for this family to Thailand was the lantern festival that went on in Chiang Mai. "The festival originated from when people would send baskets of incense or candles down a river paying respect to the water spirits. Nowadays, they send kathrongs (floating decoration/crown/boat) made up of bread (for the fishies) or something biodegradable." They loved the Thai food that they were served and they raved about a 40 cent juice that they had accompany every meal. Something interesting is that they awarded south Thailand with the warmest water they've ever felt. In fact, they said after about 15 minutes of swimming they had to exit the water due to how hot it was.
