'We work under siege': the journalists who risk death for doing their jobs 

 

Many journalist around the world are protesting saying that there needs to be more protection over them, however when Mexico tried to give journalists freedom to post whatever they wanted hasn't really done anything. Mexico started to prosecute people for threatening and harassing journalists but "has failed to solve 97% of the cases"

People say that the violence against journalists is a protest against journalism, but what exactly are they protesting against? The truth?  Why do people care so much if the truth gets out? A lot of deaths has happened in Mexico, and even though they are trying to do something about it; nothing is really working.
