Teenager behind National School Walkout

“America’s children are growing up in fear is something we’re not talking about,” said Lane. “No child should have to learn how to hide from a shooter.” The author, Ray Sanchez, is showing that our children are tired of the shooting that have been a part of their everyday life. Because our children can’t vote Sanchez is telling us that we need to take a bigger stand and come up with something to alleviate our gun issue. This problem is effecting our children and as adults we should want to try harder in standing up for them. Sanchez is showing us that something needs to be done.
