4. First Female Editor of Bild, Influential German Tabloid, Steps Down by Christopher F. Schuetze

Tanit Koch was the first female editor of Bild “best-selling newspaper” in Germany. She resigned due to a "power struggle” with a digital editor. Production of paper news has gone down that compared to digital news. Koch attempted to compromise with the digital editor but finding common ground was difficult. Bild news company wants to expand and create a balance between the genders. Print circulation once was "over 5.5 million and dropped down to 1.46 million". For the past couple of years those who read the newspaper has dropped 10 percent. Koch had enough when should was not able to build a platform that combined digital and print operations.
