Brazilian Journalist Caco Barcellos is assaulted at a protest of Public Servants in Rio de Janeiro.

The journalist of the Brazilian channel "Rede Globo" was stopped from covering a protest in front of the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro in 11/16/2016.
People were in the streets protesting against a fiscal adjustment, and Barcellos was forced to leave the location, since even a traffic cone was thrown at him. The reason why? People highly dislike "Rede Globo" because of its biased news". They said Barcellos was a "coup" and kept singing "O povo não é bobo, abaixo a Rede Globo!", which roughly translates as "We the people aren't idiots, Rede Globo must come down!" (referring to how Rede Globo should stop existing).
It has also been reported that another journalist was also assaulted and many communications networks criticized the actions of the people at the protest.
