Caco Barcellos talks about being assaulted at a protest: "I didn't even have the opportunity to talk to people"

After 4 decades as a Journalist, Barcellos has seen and been through a lot as a Journalist. Recently, he was covering a protest for his own investigative journalism show "Profissão Reporter" when he was beaten up by protesters in front of the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro. 

In an interview to the show "Altas Horas" in public television, he said: (freely translated)

"I have faced a lot of violence throughout these years at work, but almost always, when there's violence towards us, it is involuntary, not towards a specific reporter. But this time, the acts of violence were meant to hurt us specifically.
