Brazilian Reporter Gloria Maria talks about trip to Iran for the show "Globo Reporter": "There are no radicalisms, as many people seem to think".
Gloria Maria, who has already been in 160 countries because of her job, wanted to go to Iran for at least five years, but she never got a green-light to get into the country. She says that her producer insisted for four months and finally was able to get the Visa. Also, they were able to stay there for 22 days, not only 10 like regular tourists. "We just did not go to the border where Iraq and Iran meet because it is really dangerous, since it is a region taken by the ISIS. But besides for that, we visited the entire country". She also states that she had to follow many rules such as cover her head and not dress up in "provocative clothing", but the women that she talked to said they were very happy and free to study, party, and be themselves. "There are no radicalisms, as many people seem to think".
