Fisher: Cowboys Garrett Is On Jerry’s 2018 ‘Hot Seat’
By Mike Fisher
Mike Fisher summarizes an interview given by Jerry Jones at the Star in Frisco. The interview was pertaining to future of head coach Jason Garrett. Garrett, who has been the head coach of the Cowboys for the previous seven years and just come off a 2017 season missing the playoffs. This makes five of the last seven years, without even making it past their first game in the playoffs during his tenure. Jerry Jones very plainly stated that, "Jason Garrett is no on my hot seat." Along with this were plenty of questions as to why. It's been a very common conversation over the course of this past year that there needs to be a serious coaching change. Most insiders feel that Garrett wasn't making the necessary adjustments to his game plan during games while down that a head coach should be looking at. Jones is no stranger to the rumors and even states "it's fair for you to ask, but Jason isn't on my hot seat." The Cowboys will look to improve this upcoming season and hope to not only make the playoffs but the Super Bowl as well.
