artist, Drake, has been in the news after donating the budget allotted for the
music video
of his new song “God’s plan”, but this budget wasn’t just a couple hundred
dollars. National
Public Radio’s, Sidney Madden, reports that “The budget for
the video was $996,631.90, the
opening title cards read” and that “[they] gave
it all away.” The music video contains various
clips of Drake engaging in
generous acts, such as “giving away stacks of cash to people on the
street,
shutting down Brickell City Centre mall to allow the women of Lotus House Shelter
some
shopping sprees, and donating to City of Miami’s Fire Department” The
music video has
definitely put some smiles on people’s faces, and has the power
to make a bad day, just a little bit
