In the words of Kyle Pope, “we are living through one of the most thrilling-and frightening-moments to be a journalist in our lifetimes.” Within her most recent article, Pope discusses the growing threats that journalists, including herself,are exposed to on a daily basis. With all of the issues that we face in the world today, Pope touches base on how much we rely on journalists now, more than ever before, in order to acquire direct news. However, at what lengths do journalists need to go through in order to do so? Sadly, it’s a dangerous game they play and journalists are coming to this realization.
