Robots and Surgery

Robots played a huge role in taking part in surgery. There are "4,000 of them scattered around the world's hospitals, and they took part in 750,000 operations." Their surgeries include operations mostly on prostate glands and uteruses but vary in other organs such as the kidneys, colons, hearts, and many other things. These robots are good to use during surgery because they have "smarter circuits [that] can be fitted into smaller and more versatile robotic arms" compared to what we are capable of doing. They are still making more improvements and research to make surgery easier and safer to accomplish.
