Complaining of stomach pain, Former Argentine journalist Debora Perez went to Trinity Medical Center Palermo on Sunday and died after going into cardiac arrest as a result of issues caused by anesthesia. Perez was 50 years old, and leaves behind her husband Enrique Sacco and two children. She "was a well-known journalist, who appeared on the morning show 'Arriba Argentinos.' The newscast was one of the most-watched morning shows in" Argentina. She went into politics after quitting her journalism career in June, and in October she was elected as a lawmaker in Buenos Aires.
