Bernhard Lang AV_Manila_017

In this article journalist Melia Robinson takes a look at the overpopulation situation that is currently occurring in the Philippians in the capital city of Manila. She compiles a slide show to the severity of the issue. "The city's overpopulation crisis shows no sign of easing. The Manila population is expected to double in size by 2025, adding 3.29 million more people, according to Time.” She talks about how when the photographer was in Manila there was multiple fires and that since the buildings are so tightly packed the firefighters are unable to access them. She feels that over population is a pressing global issue that is often over looked.  [110 Words , 1 Links , 1 Quotations , 1 picture ]
