Five plead not guilty over £50m cocaine seizure at Farnborough Airport
Some of us might be familiar with the great Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria, he was a Colombian drug lord and narcoterrorist. His cartel supplied an estimated 80% of the cocaine smuggled into the United States at the height of his career, turning over US $21.9 billion a year in personal income. He died in a shootout on 2 December 1993, 16 months after his escape from La Catedral. Well apperantly after his death his business continues. “Five men have denied attempting to import half a tonne (500kg) of cocaine.” with a street worth of £50m ( more than $70m).
