Gold eagles are starting to disappear in some mountains.
Scientists have been putting trackers on them to track their movements and
mating habits. They don’t know the cause of these disappearances but seem to
think that they are related to hunters. "Despite very recent and high
level public warnings from Scottish government, it appears that criminal’s intent
on killing golden eagles continue to target these magnificent birds, especially
in areas managed for driven grouse shooting.” Officials will be cracking down
on hunters and their game that they target. If they are caught with one of
these eagles then their hunting license will be revoked.
