Iraq Helicopter Crash Kills 7
Thursday March 15th, in western Iraq a helicopter
went down killing 7 US service members. CNN
News reported a second helicopter flying beside and saw no “hostile fire”
towards the helicopter that crashed. Names of the service men that were killed
are starting to be released this morning. Editor Barbara Starr and Ryan Browne
of CNN stated “Multiple US defense officials told CNN the aircraft was a HH-60
Pave HAWK helicopter, a Black Hawk variant. They said the helicopter was not on
a combat mission at the time.” Sadly, there were no survivors. CNN reported an
investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
