Is Putin killing Journalists That Criticize him? 

Vladimir Putin has been under a lot of fire over the sudden deaths of many of his most notable critics. The deaths of these critics are mostly unsolved, but all share one commonality: speaking out against the Kremlin. Putin denies these allegations strongly, as has his spokesperson who calls the accusations "absurd." In the most recent killing which occurred on Thursday, March 23, 2018, Denis Voronenjov was shot outside of a hotel and later died of his injuries. Ukraine's leader recently addressed the issue calling the killing a "Russian state terrorist act."  Voronenjov was a star witness in Ukraine's case against Russia and was believed to be killed to prevent his testimony.
