landmine kills journalist

This article explains how a photographer/ journalist was killed from an explosion by landmine in Syria.  The photographer was a fighter for freedom of media in the middle east and was part of the “Free Syrian Army.”  “Syria is one of the deadliest countries in the world for journalists,” because of the war for individual freedoms in the country.  Many civilians and journalists die in this fight and has seen Syria’s government being exposed for withholding these freedoms. Syria has seen “117” journalists killed since the fight has began in 2011 and sees their ideals being threatened along with their lives.[1 image, 3 quotes, 1 link, 101 words]
