Polar Cub to Make First Appearance Soon

The first polar bear cub to be born in the UK in the last 25 years arrived this past December, and now it is time to see the thing! This adorable creature is not yet ready for viewing, and workers of the enclosure that the cub was born in, are asking the media and spectators to be patient. This cub needs time to adjust and learn the habits needed to be out in the wild, all the while being cared for by its mother for at least 3 more months. "The one thing we would say is in the initial days of allowing visitors up here are that they just need to be a wee patient. It is still a very young cub. They sleep quite a lot and there maybe times the mum and baby are crashed out in the off-exhibit area of the enclosure.” Who else is excited for this sweet baby cub?!
