Russia bans US news organizations

Russian presidential spokesperson, Dmitry Perkov left reports speaking of "unfriendly decisions by the US senate" (Moscow) to strip the RT news network of its congressional credentials. A few days after Olga Savastyanova, chair of the state Duma organization and regulation committee announced that she was "examining" (Moscow) a proposal to ban all American journalists from Russia's lower parliament. In addition she would encourage regional assemblies to adopt similar practices. Although given previous history of official comments, Savastyanova agreed to have her committee look at the proposal for second decisions.
