The journalist family traveled to Singapore where they were initially intended on only passing through but ended up spending 5 days there. They described it as "an Asian cross of NYC and Vegas. Except really, really clean." I've never been to Singapore but that description paints a picture of it in my head. "Singapore is known to have some of the best zoos in the world." So knowing this, they attended a Night Zoo which they said they loved because all the animals were awake and active. Additionally, they visited Gardens by the Bay where a variety of beautiful gardens are located. A fascinating fact to me is that "Singapore is comprised of about 70% Chinese, 13% Malaysian, 9% Indian and 3% other races". That's amazing.
