It was his first time to perform the ambitious straps routine he had been practicing for months, and unfortunately it was his last time performing ever. Yann Arnaud, an experienced Cirque Du Soleil aerialist, was in Tampa with the world-renown theatrical entertainment group on March 17 when he lost his grip of the straps he was performing on, and fell 30 feet to his death. The show ended abruptly as the horrific fall was seen by the entire audience, and it was on Sunday when Cirque Du Soleil made an official statement announcing his death. Arnaud is survived by his wife and two daughters.
