The United States is a place for the freedom of many things. Women in Ethiopia are required to have female genital mutilation when they are only seven years old. Many people from third world countries come to the United States to seek asylum. My thinking of asylum is when someone is committed too a mental hospital but the content in this article is when someone has left their native country as a political refugee. According to the immigration layers, it's harder than ever to get asylum in the United States. Documents are being lost by the asylum officers more often than not. The interviews are looking for information if the immigrants paid smugglers or if they support terrorist, both would disqualify them.
