More Boarder Guards for Texas and Arizona

According to Elizabeth Zwirz with Fox News, Texas and Arizona are planning on sending more guards to the Mexico-US border following Defense Secretary Mattis' recent orders to deploy up to 4000 troops to the border. Zwirz writes, "The governor office told Fox News that the 'state will not share in costs under Title 32.' Under that law, National Guard members receive federal pay and benefits, but remain under the command and control of their state's governor." Because of this, the states are still granted control over their own national guards. A link to the full article along with extra details and tweets from officials can be found by Clicking Here.
