A Place For Everyone

Individuals from far and wide, of all ages and backgrounds have found success in journalism. The field is not limited to big businesses and agencies that are recognized worldwide. An inspiring story from the Dallas Morning News highlights a group of students from various high schools in Texas. Out of hundreds of contestants, the staff of the school newspaper at St. Mark's School won top awards at the annual High School Journalism Day & Competition for Dallas Morning News among "about 330 students from 44 schools". The five students pictured above attend different schools around the Dallas area, and received internship positions for The News.
