Syria Missile Strike, One Year Later

"No child of God should ever suffer such a horror," President Trump said after authorizing a Tomahawk missile strike on a base the Bashar Assad regime had used to stage a sarin gas attack on its own people. While this strike has, as far as we know, eliminated the use of this gas from use in Syria, other weaponized gas attacks such as Chlorine may have sprung up to take its place.  This is an interesting case study in whether these targeted military strikes can have a lasting impact and invoke an overall change in policy in some of these hostile dictatorships. Time will tell, for now, we just don't have enough information.
