Former UK Olympic skier Amy Williams is frightened from the reports she’s been hearing from South Korea. On her Twitter account she posted: “So anyone know of good makeup that is oil based?? Our latest update from other presenters in Pyeongchang, Korea for #winterOlympics is that water based makeup literally is freezing on your face it’s that cold!! #help #facefreeze.”
Amy received helpful tips from reporters and even a chemist about bringing oil or silicone based moisturizer, sunscreen-makeup and regular makeup to the games. However, she also received some very unhelpful advice from men who responded to her Twitter post telling her to just not wear makeup. If someone wants to wear makeup, especially if they are going to be photographed and on camera, they should be able to without be judged for wearing it or have their facial features frozen under a layer of foundation.
