Young reporter Anjan Sundaram was living in the United States and as he said was living the “American Dream” , but realized that was not where his heart was. He packed his things and set off for Africa. Congo to be exact. That is where he became a freelance journalist and experienced many new things. He was “Overwhelmed. Robbed. Poor. But he learned”. From then on out, he began to file new stories and look at life differently. This is a great example on how people in the United States gets foreign news; Reporters who risk it all for an unforgettable story.
