As the premiere of another exciting season of Survivor: Ghost Islands approaches, EW journalist Dalton Ross makes another visit to the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, where the show’s 36th installment will be filmed yet again. As Survivor’s most well-known correspondent, Ross was no stranger to host Jeff Probst or this cast of superfans, with whom he conducts interviews with days before the game starts, and then releases in the weeks leading up to the premiere. In one of these interviews, Ross asks Probst to reveal who he believes are the players to watch for, and in turn, Probst draws on the 18 years of experience he has of hosting Survivor to name 5 castaways, along with the traits that he believes poses them as threats. “And suddenly you go ‘Oh my god. You could win this game.’ And I’m not sure people would see it coming.” As he goes into detail about the different elements of each player, excitement continues to build for fans as the hype for Ghost island grows.
