Wednesday afternoon, February 14, 2018, there was a mass shooting
at Parkland High School in Florida. 17 people died- teaches, staff, and
students. The guilty suspect was “identified as 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz” and
he was “arrested in nearby Coral Springs.” Ever since a young child Nikolas
Cruz had mental issues and even posted that he wanted to be a professional school
shooter on his YouTube channel. His Instagram also contains picture of his face
covered with guns. He was also labeled as “mentally disturbed” by President Donald
Trump. Because of this tremendous act of violence- 17 people killed and 14
people injured- school students started having walk outs to promote gun control
on licenses.
