After fourth Austin explosion, police warn of sophisticated ‘serial bomber’






On March 19, 2018, the fourth bomb went off in Austin, Texas and two men were injured. The serial bomber set up a tripwire that connected to the bomb in the white settlement of Austin. The bomber was found a few days after the fourth explosion by the police and his name was Mark Conditt. “Austin Police confirmed the suspect, [Mark Conditt] in the multiple package explosions killed himself with an explosive device on March 21.” The first three bombs were hidden in packages delivered to homes in predominantly black and Hispanic neighborhood. In total, one teenager was killed, one man killed, and four people injured.
