Starbucks is choosing to give equal pay to all of it's employees no matter what "gender or race". It is also introducing paid sick days and 'expanding parental leave to six weeks paid time off". Equality pay throughout employees has already started in the Untied States but the company does not know when other countries, such as, France, China, Japan, the UK, and Canada will follow through with this as well. Although Starbucks has made their employees and partners happy, they are failing to make their investors happy as well. Shares in the company has shockingly decreased since this past summer and Starbucks says that "weak afternoon sales hurt US business". In the next three years, the company plans to increase profits by 12% and also give back $15 million to shareholders in that time as well.
