Back when people used to purchase newspapers to gather news, journalism was a really important job. Today, News papers are still being handed out, but not read by many. Since the internet became the main source of news, some people think that traditional journalism is fading. Although, this may be true, there are many more ways that journalists can spread news online. According to John Cassidy, in the article "A Bit of Good News in Journalism," "digital subscriptions are rising steadily," (Cassidy). From this, we can conclude that journalists are still contributing their work, but just in different ways than one would traditionally think.
