What is the Future of Speculative Journalism?

This article was published on January 22, 2018.  The speculation of news sources has become a popular practice in this day and age. Many news providers use more theories than facts when distributing information. Journalists have the ability to convince readers just through a simple quote or headline. These 'Speculations' are "neither true nor false", however, it seems that some fail to be proven. For a speculation to be proven, a journalist will need to use evidence that supports their claim. This evidence could be provided through quotations, pictures, or videos. Until then, some may abuse the power of speculative journalism and try to convince others to believe something based off of their opinion, while ultimately, being incorrect.
