Being a journalist can mean so many things, from blogs, websites, newspapers, to even pictures. When you think of Photo Journalism you think, pictures associated with words. But for so many of these photos journalist it’s a way to speak to the viewer. “To feel is to engage not only your eyes, but also your mind and heart. It is to experience outrage, demand action or even just understand the common humanity we share with someone whose life is cut short, upended or ignored. It is to say: We see you, we hear you.” This is just one of the many views the photographer hopes you see when viewing their pieces.
