
Journalists face many dangers that many of us do not think about. While the American journalist Michael Edison Hayden has covered many seemingly dangerous situations such as "the Nepalese earthquake in 2015...disputed territory between India and Pakistan in Kashmir, and gone door-to-door in Phoenix, searching for a mass killer.", he believes that his coverage of the "alt-right white identity" in his homeland is by far the scariest thing he's experienced. He's gotten threats against his own life and his family member lives from reporting about the alt-right, and others who have reported on the alt-right have similar experiences.
