This article was written on January 11, 2018. The concept of this article is how a single app like Facebook can change journalism for all journalists. Facebook has started to pull away from news related ads, and using its algorithms to put news on peoples threads. It is interesting to see such an important app like facebook which, "Nearly half of American adults get at least some of their news from..."(Maheshwari & Ember). This shows how Facebook is trying to keep neutral in today's society regarding controversial political topics, and events.
