Vivienne Walt on a trip to Baghdad a found a Neurologist who claimed he hanged Saddam Hussein and has the rope that is responsible. This Neurologist, Al Rubaie, was imprisoned and tortured three times during Hussein's rule, is now leading a new life trying to restore and remember this 24-year era of dictatorship in a museum. Many people have destroyed murals and paintings of the now deceased Dictator but Al Rubaie has saved some of these artifacts, For example, a "200-pound bust" was recovered after Americans attempted to take it to the US (Walt). Al Rubaie hopes to increase his artifacts in an attempt to remember this era more clearly in the future.
