Christiane Amanpour is a British-Iranian journalist who currently works with ABC and CNN, and also hosts a nightly interview program of her own. She has become extremely influential over the past three decades in which she has been in the field of journalism, and has achieved many milestones that no other journalism has the pleasure of saying they have experienced. A more modern achievement of hers is the fact that she is recognized as the most followed journalists in terms of follows from leaders of the world on Twitter. As noted by New York Film Academy, she had the opportunity to interview with Hosni Mubarak, and "was the only journalist to do so". Due to her outstanding work in the field, she has received every major award including nine Emmys, an Academy Award, three DuPont-Columbia Awards, and many more.
